SEM SMIT VIŠE NEĆE DA BUDE “ON”… Pevač se više ne oseća kao muškarac i traže da ga ubuduće zovemo “oni” (?!)

Američki tekstopisac i pevač Sem Smit odlučio je da “prigrli ono što zapravo jeste, unutra i spolja“, pa je zamolio ljude da ga više ne oslovljavaju u prvom licu muškog roda, već da koriste neutralnije treće lice množine – “oni, njima“.

Osvajač Gremija rekao je da je uzbuđen zbog svoje odluke, kao i da se oseća počastvovano što ima ljude oko sebe koji ga podržavaju u toj odluci.

“Nakon unutrašnjeg sukoba sa svojim rodom tokom čitavog života, odlučio sam da prigrlim ono što zapravo jesam, unutra i spolja. Razumem da će biti mnogo grešaka i pogrešnog navođenja mog pola, ali vas molim da probate” napisao je pevač na Instagramu.

Today is a good day so here goes. I’ve decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY/THEM ❤ after a lifetime of being at war with my gender I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out. I’m so excited and privileged to be surrounded by people that support me in this decision but I’ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think but fuck it! I understand there will be many mistakes and mis gendering but all I ask is you please please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you. P.s. I am at no stage just yet to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be non binary but I can’t wait for the day that I am. So for now I just want to be VISIBLE and open. Smitova odluka dolazi šest meseci nakon što je u intervjuu za I Weigh Interviews rekao da nije ni muško ni žensko.

– Mislim da lebdim negde između – istakao je Smit u martu.
