The Velvet Underground slave 50. godišnjicu limitiranim vinilnim box setom

Iako nisu bili preterano komercijalno uspešan bend, The Velvet Underground su bili jedan od vrlo važnih bendova u rokenrol istoriji.

Bend koji su osnovali Lu Rid, multiinstrumentalista Džon Kejl, gitarista Sterling Morrisn i bubnjar Angus Meklis dospeo je svojim uticajem na neke od najvažnijih stranica rokenrol enciklopedija. A na 50. godišnjicu koju će slaviti u 2018. godini, dobićemo limitirano vinilno box set izdanje. Ova edicija se sastoji od četiri studijska albuma i rekonstruirane “izgubljene” ploče “1969”, ali i knjižice od 48 stranica s vintage fotografijama.

Svi albumi će biti izrađeni od 180-gramskog vinila i to u stereo tehnologiji. Izdanje izlazi 23. februara i biće limitirano na samo 1.000 kopija.

Nedavno su preostali živi članovi The Velvet Undergrounda, Džon Kejl i Mo Taker, koja je kasnije na bubnjevima zamenila originalnog Angusa Meklisa, ponovno zajedno bili na pozornici i izveli pesmu “I’m Waiting for the Man”.
